That was an excellent post as always. Shakesville is just a weird place all around – there was some thread about new phrases that bother people and a lot of the phrases people mentioned had what I thought was connotations to poor black people and I couldn’t believe they were unaware of this, or maybe they were aware. Either way, not so progressive I guess.
